Jamie & Dani - Partners & Veterinary Surgeons
Jamie and Dani are the two directors of the practice. They both qualified as veterinary surgeons from the University of Cambridge in 2003. After spending several years working in small animal clinics in the Derby/Nottingham area they decided to move to Abingdon to be closer to family and opened Boundary Veterinary Centre in August 2009.
They met as students in the same year at Vet School and got married in 2006. They live with their two young children Amy and Ben, their labradoodle Ava, and ginger cat, Oscar.
Lucy - Veterinary Surgeon
Lucy joined Boundary Veterinary Centre as the third veterinary surgeon in August 2011. She qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 2011.
She lives with her partner Ed and three dogs, Harley, Mac and Storm near Henley.
Helen - Practice Manager
Helen is a registered veterinary nurse and has worked for Boundary Veterinary Centre as Head Vet Nurse since the practice opened in August 2009. She has been the Practice Manager since 2014.
Helen started her nursing career in 1999 and qualified in 2003. Helen lives with her husband Paul, son Christopher and their dog, an Italian Spinone called Bob.
Nicky - Head Nurse
Nicky has been the Head Nurse since early 2014 after moving from Hertfordshire in 2013 with her two teenage sons.
They have a Dalmatian called Ziggy, a collie X GSD called Cookie, and a turtle called Squirt.
Nicky qualified in 2008 as a registered veterinary nurse.
Jess - Veterinary Nurse
Jess joined Boundary Veterinary Centre in August 2014 after qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse.
She lives with her husband Fred and their two energetic Springer Spaniels, Bobby and Lola.
Jess has a keen interest in Canine Behaviour.
Charlie - Veterinary Nurse
Charlie joined Boundary Veterinary Centre in September 2014 with 10 years’ experience in small animal and equine nursing. She qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in January 2016.
Charlie lives with her husband Chris, 3 cats, 2 rabbits and Labrador Harvey. Charlie spends her free time attending competitions with her horse Hero.
Emma - Veterinary Nurse
Emma is a registered veterinary nurse and joined Boundary Veterinary Centre in February 2013. She lives with her husband Thomas, 7 cats, 3 chickens, 2 rabbits hamster and fish – still finding time to maintain her kitchen garden!
Emma has a particular interest in feline behaviour.
Grace - Animal Nursing Assistant
Grace joined Boundary Veterinary Centre in February 2016 as an Animal Nursing Assistant.
She has a cat called ChiChi and her horse Amelie with which she competes at dressage.
Amy - Animal Nursing Assistant
Amy joined Boundary veterinary Centre in February 2017 as our second animal nursing assistant.
She lives in Witney with her terrier Dee Dee and spends her spare time riding her horse Basil.
Sylvia - Receptionist
Sylvia has worked for Boundary Veterinary Centre as a receptionist since October 2009.
She lives with her husband Andrew and their two Greyhounds, Lola and Dave.
As well as the dogs they also breed fancy bantams and pedigree Texel sheep. Sylvia also likes to compete at dressage with her horse Quinn.
Kate - Receptionist
Kate joined Boundary Veterinary Centre in March 2013 as a receptionist.
She lives with her partner Aidan and son Jake. They have a cat called Thimble who came into the practice after being hit by a car – although sadly she now only has three legs, this has not slowed her down and enjoys a full and playful life with Kate and her family.
Tricia - Receptionist
Tricia is one of Boundary Centres receptionists.
She has worked for the practice since November 2010. Tricia lives in Abingdon with her husband John.
They have 3 grown up children and one very mischievous Welsh terrier, Lottie!
Wendy - Receptionist
Wendy joined the team in November 2011 as a receptionist.
She lives locally with her husband, and two children.
They have two cats, Maud and Suki and their dog Polar, a collie cross.
